Creative Technology Manufacturing skills Day

Explore demos and hands-on skills in welding, aerospace assembly, and more
Join us for Manufacturing (MFG) Skills Day, the first in a new series of demonstrations and hands-on workshops designed to introduce you to in-demand manufacturing skills. This event offers a firsthand look at the various skills needed -- and desired -- for careers in advanced manufacturing. The interactive experience will explore technical skills in welding, aerospace assembly, CNC machining, computer-aided design and manufacturing, and 3D printing. Participants will complete a final project demonstrating all technical elements.
Workshop Includes:
- Fundamentals of Welding
Learn essential welding techniques and safety practices in this hands-on introduction to one of manufacturing's core skills. - Assembly for Aerospace & Manufacturing
Discover precision assembly methods used in aerospace and advanced manufacturing environments including layout, drilling, fasteners, and finishing. - CAD/CAM and 3D Printing for Beginners
This combination of demos and hands-on workshop introduces you to the basics of computer-aided design and manufacturing and 3D printing, including slicing, heat-set inserts, and material types. - CNC Machining
A comprehensive overview of milling, engraving, plasma and waterjet cutting, and work holding.
