About the Certificate
The online-only, self-faced Maritime Core Certificate is the Advanced Manufacturing Skills Center's (AMSC) introduction to the technical field of manufacturing focusing on boat and ship systems. Students will be introduced to valuable skills in maritime manufacturing and technology. This certificate will provide a basic understanding of general manufacturing procedures and includes four modules with four to six lessons each of theory and practical application. The Core Certificate can be applied to areas of manufacturing including maritime, aviation, space, defense, and more.

Certificate Details
The Maritime Core Certificate is intended to be taken as a prerequisite for current and future Specialty Certificates. Once students complete the Core, they move on to their specialty.
