About the Certificate
The online-only, self-faced Maritime Core Certificate is the Advanced Manufacturing Skills Center's (AMSC) introduction to the technical field of manufacturing focusing on boat and ship systems. Students will be introduced to valuable skills in maritime manufacturing and technology. This certificate will provide a basic understanding of general manufacturing procedures and includes four modules with four to six lessons each of theory and practical application.
The Maritime Core Certificate is a standalone course and is not required prior to taking the Fiberglass Lamination Certificate. It is a great addition for students looking for a hollistic and focused career path in the maritime industry.
