MariTIME Manufacturing
NEW CAREER TRAINING IN ONLY 12-WEEKS
Why get a job in maritime manufacturing?
Take a look around Washington state waterways – Navy bases, recreational boats, ferries, cruise ships, and container ships are everywhere. The Puget Sound area alone has 1,332 miles of coastline - not including the San Juan Islands or the Strait of Juan de Fuca (Puget Sound Factbook, p.16)! All of these vessels, engines, and accessories are built by marine manufacturers and serviced locally.
Jobs in marine manufacturing are here to stay! And employment in the industry is secure
-- and growing. In addition, the state, along with industry partners, are innovating
to make maritime the most sustainable in the nation.
