The Advanced Manufacturing Skills Center (AMSC) is industry focused and responsive to workforce needs. We offer flexible training opportunities that meet the needs of the fast-paced manufacturing industry. We are committed to providing innovative and relevant programs of study for present and future workers including maritime fundamentals and foundation, fiberglass lamination (July 2024) and more industry-leading job training.

12-Week Certificates

Receive two certificates and elective college credits in 12 weeks!

  • Maritime Core Certificate (prerequisite):  4 weeks | online only
  • Fiberglass Lamination Certificate (starts July 2024):  8 weeks | hybrid, online + in-person labs
  • Additional Specialties:  More options to come 2024/2025

Maritime Core Program

The Maritime Core is required prior to earning other certificates.
(Please sign up for the Core before moving on)

Please register for all of the following required, concurrent classes:
(These will all be completed during the course of the 4 week certificate)

  • MFG 120 - MANUFACTURING OVERVIEW
  • MFG 106 - INTRODUCTION TO MARITIME
  • MFG 159 - INTRO TO COMPOSITES MATERIALS

Prerequisite: Maritime Core Certificate
Available: August 2024
